Diverse Ancestry
Jessica Alba’s unique look is partly because of her diverse ancestry – Mexican, Danish, and French are a unique combination. However, that kind of background was not always easy to grasp and Jessica felt like she did not belong anywhere when she was growing up, a problem that often plagues bi-racial kids. She is not simply white, and she was also rejected by the Latin community because she was not seen as being Latin enough. Due to the stress at home, Jessica developed an unstoppable dream to become someone important, into royalty that she had always imagined herself as being. Jessica, however, did not always think of her appearance in a positive way.

A Religious Christian Family
Jessica Alba’s Christian family brought her up with strict house rules, and possibly one of the biggest rules in many religious homes is the value of modesty and not to have physical intimacy before getting married. As Jessica was growing into a woman, she dressed modestly but still caught the attention of men, especially those older than herself.
She was not fond of the attention, so she talked about it to her youth pastor, who commented on the clothes she chose to wear. This made her uncomfortable and since the incident, Jessica felt conscious about her body. Things got better later on, but the wild ride did not end after success.
