The Gentle Giant
We probably don’t need to tell you that this little chicken is completely reliant on this huge hog. He is both her real and figurative rock. She follows him everywhere he goes. She eats where he eats. You might argue that the hog is in charge, but you could equally say that the chicken is simply along for the ride. We’re pleased to see that their connections are functioning well. If it were our situation, we’d only date that girl.
“What Are You Looking At?”
“Such a huge face, such a gigantic body,” said the tiny parakeet sitting on the sofa next me. As the beautiful bulldog watched, I thought to myself, “What a tiny bird, standing precisely where I usually sleep.” Two members of the same animal family were feuding with one another. Who was the first to succumb? Who would be the first to blink? Who would be the first to give up their place on the couch? The number of inquiries kept increasing until their human father appeared and told them to “get off my sofa.”
