Signed Stephen Hawking Book

It is not every day that you stumble upon a handwritten Stephen Hawking autograph. Someone lucky stumbled upon it at a Goodwill store for only 99 cents. The physicist was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease or ALS in 1963. He could not write by the end of the ‘70s. Some of his original signatures have been auctioned off in the past. In 2015, one of those went for $50,000. After he lost control of his hands, he would only witness his book’s signing and then leave approval of it with a thumbprint stamp. He was one of the greatest minds in recent history. His book “A Brief History of Time” has seen commercial success and is considered a bestseller. In 2018, the scientist passed away at 76 years old.

1800s Diamond Ring

They say that diamonds are a girl’s best friend. The one in this photo is worth $455,000! The owner found it at a junk sale in London, assumed it was just costume jewelry, and wore it like that for three decades. She paid $13 for it at a junk sale and had no clue that it was exponentially more valuable than that. One day, she got it appraised. Only then did she find out that it was the 26-carat Fortuna diamond from the 1800s. It is thought to have been worn by Indian nobles centuries ago. As you can guess, they are scarce. Olivar Munson turned them into a pendant necklace with 5-carat Argyle pink diamonds.
