As we have previously said, Bruce Campbell splits his time between living in the Boeing 727 in Oregon and residing in Japan. Campbell plans on buying a piece of land in the Asian country and hopes to make another airplane home. He is planning on purchasing a bigger aircraft in the form of a Boeing 747-400.

Campbell truly enjoys the thrill he gets whenever he recycles airplanes and he hopes that others will feel the same way after touring his plane and attending the events he hosts. He has explained on his website that it is his goal to “spark a renaissance of thought about how to utilize this remarkable resource”. Campbell remains hopeful that other individuals will begin crafting their own airplane homes.

This talented engineer had plans of starting the second aircraft home project during the early part of the year. He decided to accomplish this somewhere in Kyushu Island. He chose to do this by the coast as he wants it to serve as a sanctuary of sorts for the local community as well. His vision is to transform the airliner into a lifeboat in case of a tsunami threat in the area! He wants the public to know that planes were made to last for centuries and that these vehicles can withstand the most terrible conditions you can think of thanks to its sealed pressure technology.
