As a matter of fact, Campbell is one of several people from all over the world who has managed to recycle airliners and convert it into a functional living space. Martin Todd of the Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association explains how the group “is happy to see aircraft fuselages re-purposed in a range of creative ways. We would want them to be recovered and to be re-used in an environmentally sustainable fashion.”
