Campbell believes that it is his life’s purpose to make a positive and significant impact on the world for the greater good of humanity and the environment. He is a man constantly driven by innovation and this likely has something to do with his background in electrical engineering. Campbell continues to be thrilled about the idea of recycling airplanes. It is a niche that he wants to consider his own. As he stands with his airplane home, he declared, “My goal is to change humanity’s behavior in this little niche.”

As a matter of fact, Campbell is one of several people from all over the world who has managed to recycle airliners and convert it into a functional living space. Martin Todd of the Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association explains how the group “is happy to see aircraft fuselages re-purposed in a range of creative ways. We would want them to be recovered and to be re-used in an environmentally sustainable fashion.”
