Impossible To Reason With
The experience Savannah had with packed airplanes was not always so good. She was always trying to negotiate with the assistants at the check-in and she was usually able to get her way. But today, the woman at the check-in counter that assisted her said that because of the number of passengers on the flight, it was impossible to do so. She had just been told that it was impossible, after trying to reason with the airline personnel. As the plane was at full capacity, there was no way around it.

She monitored all the other travellers at the airport as she walked to the boarding gate. She could feel that she was being looked at by everyone. She didn’t really appreciate the gazes and could feel that her body was consumed by anxiety. She said to herself, staring at her feet, “It’ll all be over soon.” Sadly, she had a difficult time shaking the awful feeling. Her gut was telling her that there was going to be something bad.
