A More Secular Path
Eventually, her relationship with the older guy led Jessica to question everything that she learned as a child and her religious beliefs. On her real first crush, she has said “I was so in love with him and thought, ‘There’s no way this guy’s going to hell.’” The experience led Jessica toward a more secular path in life, and she no longer refrained from doing things that she wanted to do just because of her religion. After appearing on Flipper, Jessica did a series of guest appearances, in the hopes of getting her big break and getting her career on the road.
