Hitting Something Hard
Normally, it wouldn’t be so surprising to find a rock while digging, but the soil was soft and there was no reason for him to find hard objects. While he wasn’t quite sure what it was, he was determined to find out. He began to feel around, eager to understand what it was. The object was hard, but it was surely not a rock.

Way Too Big
James was moving the dirt with his hands until the whole area was cleared. He suddenly realized that what he found was actually a bone. He never saw something of the sort before and he was intrigued. He wasn’t too sure what kind of bone it was but it was definitely too big to be from something ordinary.
