How ironic is it that Floyd Mayweather Jr. goes by the moniker “Money”? It has more to do with his boxing record than his finances. For more than a decade, he had trouble paying his taxes. At one point, he owed the IRS $22.2 million. This is a lot to pay especially since he was already retired from his boxing career when it happened. We hope that his boxing promoter job can help him sort out this mess.

We have another athlete whose lavish lifestyle caused his financial downfall. Even though Dennis Rodman was great on the court, he has been struggling when it comes to money. His lawyers said that he could not even pay for his living expenses at one point. On top of that, he was beyond on his child support payments and even owed his two children up to $800,000. Reports also claimed that he stole from a number of stores, but the basketball player said that there is no truth to the allegations.
